If circumcised men were to be less prone to HIV-infection then why did U.S. gay men (mostly circumcised) get massively infected with AIDS during the wild 70-80s? This is obviously nonsense. As Bill Gates is not a stupid man, there must a dark, sinister or economic reason behind his motives.
1) Economic: a) the lobby of circumcision doctors want to make this decaying practice worldwide mandatory. What better place to implement it than in Africa. Ignorant, powerless, easily manipulated population, that will quickly adhere to it (as they did to evangelic instigated homophobia). b) As 54321kim said, the cosmetic industry needs foreskins cells for its products, and medicine to investigation because of embryonic stem cells maintained on human foreskin fibroblasts.
2) Mind control and castrating practice: since time immemorial circumcision, in both male and female humans, has been used by the powers that be as mind control tool over large numbers of the population, disguised as religious practice or recently (in male) as hygienic measure. As the Jewish philosopher Maimonides said: "The fact that circumcision weakens the
faculty of sexual excitement and sometimes perhaps diminishes
the pleasure is indubitable. For if at birth this member has
been made to bleed and has had its covering taken away from
it, it must indubitably be weakened. The Sages, may their
memory be blessed, have explicitly stated: It is hard for a woman with
whom an uncircumcised man has had sexual intercourse to
separate from him. In my opinion this is the

Circumcised men become meaker, more fearful and more easily controlled by the State. (Just think of the millions of circumcised Jewish men that let themselves to be taken to death by the Nazis during WW2.) Circumcision is a tremendous trauma to any male (or female) no matter their age. But just think of the horrid effects it has in the extremely sensitive body of a new-born. It provokes a lifelong contraction of vital energy and general malfunction of the organism. That's why Jewish men are so anxious and neurotic. The same applies to most U.S. circumcised males.

I have never responded to an internet article, and may never again; but I could not let this disgusting post go unanswered in the event that a politician would read it and be captured by the brainwashing theme presented.

So in this author here we have another guy that thinks the world is "UNFAIR". Wow, what a dangerous way of thinking. In the original era of trading, to gain an ‘edge’ the cost was that you had to overcome the barriers to entry to stand in a trading pit. These barriers consisted of things like:· posting a large sum of money at a clearing house
· buying a membership, which often cost at least one million dollars· establishing credibility and trust before people would be willing to trade with you· living in a geographic region that offered this (or the cost of getting there) If you were willing and able to do all this, it seemed fair to everyone that you had an edge because it was an opportunity open to anyone (except convicted felons). Similarly, in every business there’s a reason a market leader has an edge over everyone else. They may:· spend more money on r&d· spend more money on better talent· be located in a more appealing location (eg Chicago vs Duluth)· have the cache of being a more prestigious company to work for This is what capitalism is all about. In fact, under this author's "let's level all playing fields" reasoning, there's no reason to stop at the amount of money someone is spending today...how about the education they paid for? How about the intelligence level they were born with? There's really no reason to say that someone's machines can't have an advantage, but their brains still can. So let's make sure every trader's strategy is required to be public information while we're at it, so we can kill motivation and innovative thinking too while we're at it in your perilous world. So why can’t trading firms that spend huge huge amounts of money on their ‘edge’ (whatever it may be) attempt to seek some sort of possible advantage in the market? It’s open for anyone to attempt (eg there’s no rule that says only Wall Street traders can do it). It works that way in every other industry! And I’m not grousing about this article as someone who personally benefited directly from low latency trading, the edge of the big powerful trading firms might have eventually put my trading business out of business because I couldn’t spend that kind of big money. That’s capitalism at work! Every industry has that risk. It’s just sickening that people try to brainwash the liberal politicians that there’s something unfair about capitalistic forces when it affects their business (as if for some reason they should get an exception). Meanwhile, these paid-off-vote-seeking-whores actually listen to them! Here’s how I turned out; I saw the writing on the wall and instead of turning into a lazy piece of s*** who could say “it was a good run, thank goodness I made my money”, I started a highly innovative and successful related business against the advice of every single person I knew.
I’ll get off my soapbox now, but the feelings people like this blogger-genius have about being entitled to the same things that others create, spend money on, and take big risk on are the most despicable thing about the human race in my opinion.

perhaps Bill Gates has investments in cosmetic companies that are using cells from foreskins of babies, used to make anti-aging creams. as more parents are recognizing that circumcision is not right for their babies, rates fell drastically, it seems folks have vested interest in bringing circumcision rates back up.

Thank you for bringing some common sense to the circumcision campaign. It seems that Bill Gates is throwing money at circumcision without thinking about why. According to Bill, he was more concerned about men wanting to be circumcised instead of whether it will really have an impact on the HIV rate in Africa. Too many, including Bill, accept that circumcision will prevent HIV, although the science does not support that assumption.

Believe it or not, this is actually true. I was with a guy that did this. It is an actual sleep disorder that is caused by not entering the REM stage of sleep. It is combination of sleepwalking and "wet" dreams. This guy would initiate sex by fondling, but be asleep the whole time. He would even be abnormally agressive by biting. He would wake up in the morning and have no memory of what happened.

I pity you david as MS dont give a $hit and you got a 360 without using it on live it's best feature. Now they laugh at you, didnt you have to pay for the full year anyway so to cancel didnt cost them anything as you already paid for the rest of the subscription.

I ran into that too. I had sleepless nights and was reminded of the horror this honorable man went through when I got cold at night, and slipped on an extra pair of socks and turned up the heater. I had images of his video and images of what he wrote on his 'bio' on the CNET channel. He was showing his latest review (I believe it was the mp3), and I could see a picture of his daughter on the image he was showing. This morning, I looked up (typed in the wrong website in error), and was so shocked someone was trying to sell and make money off their name. The person buying the name is just as bad as the person purchasing to make money. (the correct and real website is "jamesandkati.com").

This really is a horrible thing. What was this person thinking, I mean, James Kim has always been such a good hearted person who loves technology. I understand people need to pay the bills, but there are some things that you shouldn't do. This really is one of them. How can "NameKing" sleep at night knowing that he is making money off a tragedy like this. I haven't been the best citizen in the world, but at least I can look myself in the mirror. I'm pretty sure NameKing hasn't looked in the mirror for a loooooong time.

I have had nothing but problems with video downloads. On November 26, I had 480 points vanish for a failed download. Called support, over 1 hour later, received credit back after talking to a nice rep. She stated they were having problems, but try again in 24 hours.

After 30 hours I try again. Same problem as before, download fails, points are deducted, call customer service. This time it only took 40 minutes on hold to reach a rep.

This time I am asked by Isabel, how are you connecting? I said I am using the wireless connection , and she immediately had an attitiude, and informed me I can only connect directly with a wired connection. She continued to scold me about how I was connecting, and informed me she would note on my account that I had been "warned" not to connect wirelesly.

I asked her to explain to me why I had not been told of problems on the previous call. I also asked her to explain why Xbox live website did not inform me of any problems, or why I had not received Email of said problems. I told her that they had sent me plenty of Email advertising the new service.

She stated that she did not have to explain anything to me, "just don't use it the way you are".

At this point I explain I don't care for her attitude and ask her to cancel my Xbox live account.

She said she could not do this, I had to be connected to the account department.

This took about 20 minutes to be connected to accounts. This person was sympathetic to the situation, but gladly cancelled the account.

I sent Microsoft email telling them what happened, and that I was giving up on them as a gaming company.

I did receive a generic reply after 2 days, that they had recieved my comments, blah blah blah.

I have disconnected my Xbox 360, and will not support Microsoft as a gaming company due to this terrible customer service.

I do not have an Xbox, but I do like the idea of downloading movies. I have downloaded about 10 movies from Itunes that I play on my Imac. The downloads have taken about 30 minutes each. Now I realize that they are not HD and the resalution is about as good as regualr TV. But I sure like the download time and soon will have the convience of watching on my TV as opposed to my computer. Never once problem with the service. I think that Microsoft has a winner with the Xbox service but with limited HD space and what appears to be poor planning as usual, Apple will soon have all the Duck lined up for a true High Def solution for downloading if the initial Itues service is any indication. I watcing my movies now not waiting hours for delivery.

I think my Customer Service problem was temporary holiday issue. Now I haven't called in myself yet, but they are assuring us on xbox.com that that the reps can now give quick refunds.

Seriously. I dont own an XBox 360, but i hope to have one in the near future. I'm not one of those console bashers, i'm more about the free-love for all consoles. However, the lack of proper customer support is, quite frankly, pretty disgusting. And I'm pretty sure that they'll blame your connection for this depressingly slow download. Hope it all works out for you :D
